Podcast Interview with Riane Elise

As you may have heard, the brilliant quiltmaker, designer, and general Renaissance woman, Riane Menardi Morrison (@riane.elise on Instagram), has embarked on a wonderful new venture. She's opened a shop filled with thoughtfully curated goods for the modern quilter AND has just launched a brand new podcast in which she and her guests discuss sewing shop talk, creativity, finding meaning in modern making and everything in between. I was so very honored to get a chance to chat with her recently about my practice, my creative background, and my thoughts about the intersection of fine art and quiltmaking. Additionally, Riane has asked each guest to put together a collection of their favorite things in the Material Goods shop and she's offering these "edits" as bundles available for purchase. My "edit" is comprised of four of my most-loved fabrics as well as a gorgeous hand-dyed skein of Sashiko thread.
